| KH-07 AC/DC 750 Amp Cable Wrap System This portable unit provides effective detection of surface discontinuities with Alternating Current or near-surface flaws with HalfWave Direct Current (HWDC). This unit utilizes 30 feet of 4/0 cable which is "wrapped" around large, heavy and irregularly shaped components. The cables induce a magnetic field across the entire surface and discontinuities may be located in any plane. Iron particles can be applied dry or wet; suspended in a liquid, colored or fluorescent. This instrument will also perform Demagnitization of a specimen by inducing a magnetic field and reducing the current output at a constant rate in the AC mode of operation.
